  • I provide therapy sessions online through a secure HIPAA-compliant video platform. This allows you to attend therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

  • Online therapy works much like an in-person session, except we meet through a secure video platform. You’ll receive a private link before your appointment and can join from any quiet, confidential space with a reliable internet connection. Many clients appreciate the flexibility and convenience of online therapy.

  • My current fee is $350 per 50-minute session. Payment is due at the time of service and can be made using a credit/debit card, HSA, or FSA card. Please contact me for current rates or questions about payment options.

  • Yes. I am currently in-network with Aetna. If you have Aetna insurance, claims are processed electronically on your behalf, and I’ll help ensure you have the information you need regarding benefits and coverage.

If you have a different insurance plan, I may be considered an out-of-network provider. In those cases, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement of part of my full fee. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to learn more about your out-of-network benefits.

  • Many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that can help reduce the cost of therapy. To make the process easier, I partner with Mentaya, a service that allows you to quickly check your out-of-network benefits and estimate your potential reimbursement before getting started. If you have questions about using out-of-network benefits, please feel free to reach out.

You can also call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask a few simple questions:

    • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

    • What is my deductible, and has it been met?

    • What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?

    • Is there a limit to the number of therapy sessions covered?

    • Do I need preauthorization for outpatient mental health services?

Please note that reimbursement amounts vary based on your individual insurance plan.

  • Under federal law, healthcare providers are required to provide clients who are not using insurance with a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs for services. This estimate outlines the anticipated cost of your care and helps you make informed decisions about treatment. You’ll receive additional information during the intake process.

  • Finding the right therapist matters. A consultation gives us an opportunity to discuss what you’re looking for, ask questions, and determine whether working together feels like the right next step. If I’m not the best fit for your needs, I will work with you to connect you to other resources.

  • Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re facing, your goals for treatment, and any questions you may have. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the very beginning.

  • The length of therapy varies from person to person. Some clients come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper growth and healing. We’ll regularly check-in about your goals and make decisions together about what feels most helpful for you.

  • Many of my clients come to therapy feeling frustrated because they’ve already spent years doing personal work, often in previous therapy. They understand their patterns and can explain why they struggle, yet still find themselves stuck in the same cycles.

My approach goes beyond simply talking about what’s wrong. Together, we’ll explore the deeper emotional experiences, patterns, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck while also building practical tools for creating change in your daily life.

The goal isn’t just greater insight—it’s helping you experience meaningful, lasting change.

  • The easiest way to get started is by completing the contact form on my website. Once I hear from you, I’ll reach out with information about scheduling and next steps.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to the full session fee. In the case of an unavoidable conflict or emergency, we may be able to explore alternative arrangements together to avoid the cancellation fee. Please refer to your intake paperwork for complete details.

  • Yes. What you share in therapy is confidential and protecting your privacy is very important to me.

    • Situations involving serious safety concerns, such as imminent risk of harm to yourself or others

    • Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, older adult, or dependent adult

    • Court orders or other legal requirements

    • When you provide written authorization for information to be released

We’ll review confidentiality and its limits in more detail during our first appointment so you know exactly what to expect.
